What ManuLens is
- ManuLens provides an OCR workflow for handwritten documents with human review built into the process.
- The service extracts and structures text from uploaded documents; it does not generate images or videos.
- The service is currently in a private early stage and is provided on a waitlist basis.
OCR accuracy and limits
- OCR results are algorithmically generated and may contain transcription errors, especially for damaged pages, unusual handwriting, and historical notation.
- Confidence values are advisory; they do not guarantee correctness.
- You must review output before publication, legal filing, clinical use, or any mission-critical decision.
Upload permissions and prohibited content
- You can upload only documents you own or have written permission to process.
- Do not upload materials that are private, illegal, exploitative, infringing, or prohibited by law in your jurisdiction.
- Do not upload identity documents, medical records, payment card data, credentials, or other highly sensitive personal data unless we have agreed to that use case in writing.
- We do not intentionally accept requests intended for bypassing privacy laws, copyright restrictions, or identity fraud.
Third-party processors
- To extract text, documents may be forwarded to trusted OCR and infrastructure providers for processing, including Mistral for OCR.
- Those partners process only the files required to return OCR results and are contractually limited to this purpose.
- We may also retain small operational metadata (timestamps, file names, page counts) to keep the service functioning.
Payments and pricing terms
- Payments are not open yet. The current waitlist is free.
- There is no charge, subscription, or checkout during this phase.
- Any future paid program will be announced in writing before activation.
